Davis Bayou has installed keyless entry pads on all shower doors at the bathhouse. You will need to know the gate code to gain entrance to the showers. The gate code is in your confirmation emails, so please read them carefully. Please make sure that you fully close the door once you leave the shower area.

About

Davis Bayou Campground sits within Gulf Islands National Seashore's Mississippi district, tucked among live oaks and pine trees beside a scenic saltwater marsh. All 52 individual sites feature electric (30/50 amp) and water hookups, a picnic table, and access to a grill or fire ring. The modern bathhouse has flush toilets and hot showers with keyless entry, plus laundry facilities. A dump station serves RV campers. The campground provides direct access to the 0.5-mile Davis Bayou Trail, which winds through coastal forest and over two bayous where alligators and other wildlife are frequently spotted. A boat launch sits half a mile away, and the fishing pier near the Visitor Center is available to anglers with a Mississippi saltwater license. Ranger-led programs run seasonally. The park also serves as a gateway to Horn, Petit Bois, East Ship, and West Ship barrier islands, accessible by private boat or charter. Ferries to West Ship Island operate from Gulfport March through October.
