As long as they continue to move widespread flash flooding is not expected however, given the training that looks like may be trying to set up there could be isolated locations that would need a flash flood warning. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southern Mississippi, including the following counties, Harrison and Jackson. * WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 121 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Big Biloxi Recreation Area offers a developed camping experience on the banks of the Big Biloxi River in southern Mississippi's De Soto National Forest. The campground provides 25 sites, each equipped with water and electric hookups (up to 50 amps), making it well-suited for RVs up to 42 feet. A bathhouse with hot showers, flush toilets, and a dump station serve the campground. The Big Biloxi River is the main attraction, providing excellent fishing for bream, bass, and catfish. A half-mile nature trail loops through the surrounding pine forest. The day-use area includes a covered pavilion with picnic tables and grills available for reservation. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis, though sites may also be reserved through Recreation.gov. Stay limits are 14 consecutive days from May through October, extending to 30 days from November through April. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
