The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. Each site includes a campfire ring and picnic table. Potable water is available from a hand pump, and vault toilets serve the campground. Some sites can accommodate RVs, though specific length limits are not published. The area around Silver Lake offers opportunities for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The campground typically operates from June through September, though dates vary based on snow and weather conditions.
