You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a ride, walking, riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work, avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your vehicle properly tuned. About
Murrell Park is the only facility at Grapevine Lake still directly managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, offering 11 primitive tent-only campsites on this 7,280-acre recreational lake. The campsites are situated along the lakeshore with water views and are designed for short-term tent camping. Each site includes a fire ring/grill and picnic table, with some sites featuring picnic shelters. RVs and camping trailers are not permitted. Amenities are minimal but functional: two vault toilets serve the camping area, and a community water spigot is available from spring through fall but is typically shut off during winter months. Campers should plan to bring their own water supply. There are no showers, electrical hookups, or dump stations. The park is popular for day use activities including picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, boating, and fishing. The well-known Northshore Trail passes through the park, welcoming hikers and mountain bikers. Anglers can fish from the shoreline or by boat for crappie, catfish, and bass. Horses, motorized bikes, and e-bikes are not permitted on the Northshore Trail.

Murrell Park is located at 880 Simmons Road, Flower Mound, Texas. The park is on the north side of Grapevine Lake, south of Denton in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
