The Mikesell Canyon Trail starts at the campground, offering hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Trail Creek provides fishing for Yellowstone cutthroat and brook trout. ATVs are not allowed in the campground. Grand Targhee Resort is nearby with lift-served mountain biking, disc golf, and summer music festivals. Grand Teton National Park's Granite Entrance is 22 miles away, and Jackson, Wyoming is 19 miles distant.
