Soda Springs Campground is set along the forested banks of the Bumping River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, providing a scenic base camp for exploring the eastern Cascade Mountains. The campground offers 24 standard nonelectric sites that accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 30 feet. Two historic Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelters provide gathering spaces for visitors. The Bumping River flows adjacent to the campground, offering cold-water swimming and fishing opportunities for rainbow, brook, and steelhead trout in deep pools along the shore. The nearby American Ridge Trail provides hikers, backpackers, and horseback riders with access to over 26 miles of high-elevation terrain featuring old-growth forests, alpine meadows, mountain lakes, and ridge-line views before connecting to the Pacific Crest Trail. Additional trailheads for Goat Creek, Nile Ridge, and Richmond Mine trails are located nearby. The surrounding landscape includes glaciated alpine peaks, diverse forests, and clean streams that support abundant wildlife including deer, porcupine, native fish, and migratory birds. The area experiences warm, sunny summers and snowy winters typical of the Cascade Mountains. Boulder Cave National Recreation Trail and Mount Rainier National Park are within driving distance, while the Goat Rocks Wilderness offers high-elevation alpine adventures.

Directions

Take Highway 410 to milepost 88.4, then turn left on Bumping Lake Road and continue for 5 miles to the campground.
