About
Soda Springs Campground is nestled on the forested banks of the Bumping River within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located at 3,030 feet elevation, the campground offers 24 sites that accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring, with vault toilets and drinking water (from a hand pump) available on-site. Two historic Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelters serve as gathering spots for groups. The Bumping River provides an excellent backdrop for swimming in its cold, refreshing waters and fishing for rainbow, brook, and steelhead trout. The nearby American Ridge Trail stretches over 26 miles from the Bumping River to the Pacific Crest Trail, traversing towering forests, meadows, alpine lakes, and ridge line views. Additional nearby trails include Goat Creek Trail, Nile Ridge Trail, and Richmond Mine Trail. The campground sees heavy use during the season. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov. Sites include electric hookups at $22 per night, with an additional vehicle fee of $10 per night. Firewood is available for purchase at the campground.
