About

Plymouth Park Campground is an Army Corps of Engineers recreation area located near the small town of Plymouth, Washington, on the shores of Lake Umatilla along the Columbia River. The campground sits in a high desert environment with tall sage and Russian olive trees providing limited shade. The area is home to abundant wildlife including mule deer, waterfowl, and raptors. The campground features 32 spacious sites with paved roadways and grassy areas. Sites 11-20 offer full hookups with water, electric, and sewer connections, while the remaining sites have water and electric service. Most sites are pull-through and can accommodate RVs up to 55 feet. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Facilities include flush and vault toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a dump station, and playground. The day-use area and boat launch are located on a small island and include a swim beach, boat ramp, flush toilets, vault toilet, and courtesy dock. Popular activities include fishing for Chinook, steelhead, walleye, sturgeon, and shad, as well as swimming, boating, and water skiing. McNary Dam and Visitor Center and Lake Wallula are two miles upstream, offering additional recreation opportunities.
