About
Willow Creek Campground sits on the shores of Willow Creek Reservoir, created by the Willow Creek Dam in 1983, at the base of the Blue Mountains near Heppner, Oregon. The campground is operated by the Willow Creek Park District and is located approximately a half-mile up Willow Creek Road from Highway 207 at an elevation of about 2,200 feet.
The facility features 24 RV spaces, mostly 50-60 foot pull-throughs with a couple of back-in sites, offering a mixture of full hookups (water, electric, and sewer) and partial hookups (water and electric). Tent sites are also available. The campground provides modern restroom facilities with hot showers, picnic tables at each site, and Wi-Fi access. A nearby boat launch provides access to the reservoir for fishing and boating activities.
Located on the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway, the campground offers easy access to historic downtown Heppner and serves as a base for exploring the surrounding Blue Mountains region. The reservoir setting provides scenic views and recreational opportunities including swimming, fishing, and boating. The maximum stay is limited to two weeks, and reservations can be made up to three months in advance.
Directions
From Heppner, take Highway 207 south to Willow Creek Road. Turn onto Willow Creek Road and continue approximately half a mile to the campground entrance on Willow Creek Reservoir.
