About

Bull Trout Campground is situated in a mixed-growth forest of Douglas fir and lodgepole pine on the shores of Bull Trout Lake at 6,900 feet elevation. The 38-site campground includes single sites, double sites, group sites accommodating up to 50 people, and equestrian sites featuring corrals and large parking spurs. Vault toilets, potable water, picnic tables, and trash collection are provided. An on-site campground host is available during the operating season. Bull Trout Lake offers excellent canoeing and kayaking on its 100 acres, as the lake permits only non-motorized watercraft. Anglers fish for brook and rainbow trout from shore or boat; a primitive boat ramp is located on the west side. Nearby Martin Lake is stocked with rainbow trout and also offers canoeing. The area provides extensive trail access. The 11-mile Warm Spring Trail serves hikers, while the 35-mile Kirkham Ridge Trail accommodates hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and dirt biking. This is bear country; campers should maintain clean camps and practice bear-aware food storage.
