Banner Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground located along Highway 21 in the Salmon-Challis National Forest, about 21 miles from Stanley, Idaho. The campground sits among the trees with a small creek running through, providing a peaceful setting for camping in the Sawtooth Range area. The campground offers 5 campsites, all available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring with cooking grill. A vault toilet is provided, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply. There are no hookups, showers, or dump station facilities. The campground is accessible to trailers and motorhomes up to 32 feet in length. The $5 per night fee makes it an affordable option for exploring the Salmon-Challis National Forest. The campground typically operates seasonally from mid-June through fall, weather permitting.

From Stanley: Drive 21 miles northwest on Highway 75; campground is on the left side of the highway. From Boise: Drive 111 miles northeast on Highway 21 towards Stanley; campground is on the right side of the highway.
