About

Big Pine Equestrian Group Campground sits in the San Bernardino Mountains at 6,820 feet elevation, surrounded by mature evergreens and open meadows. This single group site is purpose-built for equestrian camping, featuring four horse corrals, hitching racks, watering stations, and a dedicated horse staging area. The campground accommodates up to 25 people and up to 8 vehicles. Facilities include vault toilets, five picnic tables, two double pedestal grills, and a group campfire circle. Water availability is very limited, so campers should fill all RV tanks and trailers before arriving. No hookups or showers are available on-site; the nearest showers are at Serrano Campground. Cactus Flats, nearby, features roughly 68 miles of OHV and motorcycle trails with a picnic area. Numerous hiking and horseback riding trails are accessible from the campground area. Markets and restaurants are available in Fawnskin, about 7 miles away.
