About

Rocky Branch Seasonal Campground is a primitive hunt camp situated on hilly terrain in a dense pine forest within the Enoree Ranger District of Sumter National Forest. Located in Fairfield County, South Carolina, near the Broad River, the campground provides seasonal camping opportunities specifically for hunters pursuing whitetail deer and wild turkey during designated seasons. The campground features 10 primitive sites with rock fire rings, vault toilets, and trash receptacles. No potable water, electricity, hookups, or picnic tables are provided. Many sites accommodate only smaller camper trailers or tents. Cell coverage is sporadic throughout the area. The surrounding Piedmont forest environment sustains abundant wildlife populations, making this one of the more desirable hunting destinations in the state. Additional recreation opportunities include wildlife viewing, photography, berry picking, and fishing along the nearby Broad River.
