About

Lodge Campground is a rustic, off-the-beaten-path destination in Logan Canyon, stretching along the Right Hand Fork of the Logan River at 5,600 feet elevation. The 10 single sites are well shaded with heavy understory and middlestory vegetation providing excellent privacy between campsites. The sounds of the river create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the campground. ATV and four-wheel drive enthusiasts will find extensive adventure opportunities, with a network of back-country roads linking this area to Cowley and Blacksmith Fork Canyons. A trailhead at the end of the road provides access to the Great Western Trail (which runs from Canada to Mexico) and a network of additional trails. Anglers can fish for Rainbow and Cutthroat trout in the nearby river. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault restrooms available during the operating season. Campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on site. This is bear country, so proper food and trash storage is required.

Directions

From Logan, UT at the intersection of US Routes 89 and 91, take Route 89 north 11.7 miles to the campground sign. Turn right at the sign and go 1.3 miles to another campground sign. Make a hard right at the sign into the campground.
