Overview

 Positioned nicely near Coast Guard Beach and Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro, this home is a recently renovated one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit (sleeps two) that is part of a three-unit triplex. Coast Guard Beach (consistently rated as a top family beach) is a quick five minute walk from the property which also offers direct access to several beautiful bike/walking trails! This well-equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore fun and memorable!

  • Refundable Security Deposit: $250 (per reservation)

Recreation

The Highland Suites offer visitors nearby access to Cape Cod's quiet beaches and tidal flats. Explore beyond the beach and you will find the seashore is so much more. Provincetown historic village is just a short drive away, with book stores, galleries, and restaurants waiting for you. There are miles of walking and biking trails through pine forests, across sandy dunes, and alongside freshwater ponds. You can climb to the top of one of the many lighthouses and experience a piece of maritime history, unique and characteristic of the Cape Cod landscape. For the wildlife lover, there are opportunities to spot over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals that make the seashore their home.

- 1 full size bed

- 2 pillows per bed 

- 1 top blanket per bed 

- 1 table top fan (in each bedroom and the living room area) 

- In-unit washer and dryer.

- Dish towels / potholders 

- A propane BBQ grill and 1 tank of propane gas

- 1 Flat-screen TV  

- Full mirror on the back of each bathroom door (useful for tick checks) 

- Trash and Recycling bins for each unit (located behind the shed). The park can be contacted for additional trash removal (as needed). 

- Access to an outdoor storage shed (for bicycles, kayaks, fishing gear, etc.)  

Things to Know Before You Go: 

- There is no outdoor shower at this location. 

- Each unit is allowed two parking spaces ONLY. This is strictly enforced. 

- Towels and sheets are not provided. Guests should plan to bring their own bath towels, beach towels, and bed sheets. 

- There are no cable or internet services provided to this unit.  

- Guests must provide their own USB to connect the television to their computer/smart devise. 

- Cell phone reception can be very weak at this location. A land line is available to guests for local and emergency calls only. 

- Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited. This includes the interior of the property and the grounds. 

- Pets are strictly prohibited. No exceptions. 

- 5 gallon water jugs are provided in each unit for consumption. The tap water is safe for cooking, bathing, and cleaning but 

  should not be used as a drinking water source. 

- There is NO dishwasher in the unit. 

- Ticks and mosquitos are a natural part of the environment at the seashore. Please plan accordingly.

The great Outer Beach, described by Thoreau in the 1800s, is protected within Cape Cod National Seashore. Forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds, and uplands support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod’s past and continuing ways of life.

It is impossible to be bored on Cape Cod! If you’re an active traveler, we have hiking and biking, or try a new activity like paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, or surfing. Go on a whale or seal watching – we have the finest in the world! Cape Cod is also a cultural destination with hundreds of arts and cultural venues from the canal to the tip of the cape. Plan visits to museums inspired by the Cape’s nautical heritage and pristine environment, visit the local towns to find unique shopping opportunities and a wide range of activities and events or pay a visit to a performing arts venue that reflects the unique arts community of Cape Cod.
