Periods of wet snow will impact the East Glacier Park region above 5,000 feet today as a cold weather system moves through the area. Accumulating snow is most likely at elevations above 6000 feet, where 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected with isolated higher amounts over the peaks. The best chances for wet snow with little or no accumulation at elevations below 6000 feet is this morning. Those heading into the backcountry and higher elevations should prepare for winter-like conditions. An elevated risk will exist for hypothermia.
