The Wye Island NRMA Group Youth Campground consists of two primitive sites, Solo Cove and Dividing Creek, situated within a 2,800-acre natural resource management area on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The preserve occupies a peninsula in the tidal waters of the Chesapeake Bay, bordered by the Wye River and Wye East River. Each site can accommodate up to 40 people and offers basic facilities including pit toilets. The campground operates seasonally from late March through late October. Reservations are made through the Maryland Park Service reservation system at parkreservations.maryland.gov and require a valid Maryland Youth Group Pass, which is free but must be obtained by mail with proof of tax-exempt status and youth organization documentation. The pass is valid for two years. Wye Island is managed primarily for wildlife habitat, particularly wintering waterfowl, and features 30 miles of shoreline. Campers have access to hiking trails, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Canoes and kayaks are available for rent. Firewood may be purchased on-site; importing outside firewood is prohibited due to emerald ash borer concerns.

From US-50/301 on the Eastern Shore, take exit for MD-18 toward Grasonville. Turn onto Carmichael Road, then continue to Wye Island Road. The park entrance is at 632 Wye Island Road, Queenstown, MD 21658.
