About
Fairview Campground is a small, rustic drive-through loop located just off State Highway 207 in the Blue Mountains. The campground offers five campsites, with two fully accessible sites located directly across from the accessible vault toilet. Remnants from a wildfire in the late 1980s can be seen along the edges of this compact camping area. A free-flowing water fountain provides potable water from May through October, though no water is available during winter months. The campground serves primarily as a staging area for hunters and OHV riders. Its trailhead provides access to 80 miles of OHV roads and trails across the Heppner Ranger District, and Morrow County OHV Park with over 200 miles of marked and groomed trails is only 6 miles north on Highway 207. Peak season is late fall through early winter during big game hunting season, though the campground also serves as overflow when Bull Prairie Lake Campground is full. There is no garbage service, so visitors must pack out all trash. The campground operates first-come, first-served with no fees or reservations. While only closed by snow, it is maintained seasonally from Memorial Day through mid-November. Outside this period, the campground is in winterized condition with no services available.

From Heppner, Oregon, travel south on State Highway 207 for approximately 34 miles. Look for signs for Fairview Campground on your right.
