About

Cass Lake Loop is a walk-in only tent campground located within the Norway Beach Recreation Area on the shores of Cass Lake in Chippewa National Forest. The campground features 12 updated campsites accessible via a walking and bicycling path, each with large designated tent pads capable of accommodating up to eight people. Several sites are fully accessible for visitors with mobility issues. The campground offers access to excellent boating and fishing opportunities on Cass Lake, along with interpretive trails, sandy beaches, and a paved biking trail throughout the Norway Beach Recreation Area. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Vault toilets are available on-site, though campers should bring their own water as no potable water is available at this loop. Cass Lake Loop operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. The campground is located four miles east of Cass Lake, Minnesota on Highway 2 within the Norway Beach Recreation Area.
