WHERE...Moffat, Routt, Jackson, Grand, Rio Blanco, Garfield, Eagle, Summit, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Mesa, Pitkin, Lake, Park, Delta, Gunnison, Chaffee, Montrose, Ouray, San Miguel, Dolores, and northern parts of Montezuma and Saguache Counties. Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Meeker, Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Central City, Georgetown, Grand Junction, Aspen, Leadville, Fairplay, Delta, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Salida, Montrose, Nucla, Ouray, Telluride, Dove Creek, and Saguache. Weber Park is a primitive camping area situated in Pike National Forest within the South Park region of Park County, Colorado. Located at approximately 9,600 feet elevation, the site is managed by the South Park Ranger District of the Pike-San Isabel National Forests. As a dispersed or minimally developed camping area, Weber Park does not appear in official USFS campground listings or on Recreation.gov, suggesting it operates as primitive backcountry camping rather than a developed campground with designated sites. Campers should be prepared for a self-sufficient experience with no developed amenities. The South Park basin offers spectacular mountain views and access to Pike National Forest recreation opportunities. Current fire restrictions may apply; as of spring 2026, Stage I fire restrictions have been in effect for portions of Pike National Forest. Contact the South Park Ranger District for current conditions and regulations before visiting.

Directions

From Huntsville, Utah, travel east on Highway 39 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right at the sign for Weber Memorial Park onto Causey Drive and continue for about 1.25 miles to the park entrance.
