Mill East Campground is situated in Pike National Forest, one of Colorado's most accessible national forests for Front Range residents. Located in Park County at approximately 9,000 feet elevation, the campground offers a mountain camping experience in the Pike National Forest, which encompasses over 1.1 million acres of the Rocky Mountains. Like most Pike National Forest campgrounds at this elevation, winter access is limited or closed due to snow and weather conditions. Directions
From Lake City, Colorado, take Highway 149 south for about 2 miles. Turn right onto County Road 30 and continue for approximately 10.5 miles. Mill Creek Campground is on the left, over the bridge.
