Alcohol Prohibitions

This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

Two Color Campground offers a peaceful retreat along Wild and Scenic Eagle Creek in Oregon's Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The campground's 9 sites are nestled beneath towering pine and spruce trees that provide welcome shade during summer months. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and parking area, though campers should note that no potable water is available on site. The campground is a popular base for anglers targeting the stocked rainbow trout in Eagle Creek. Day hikers will find easy access to the Eagle Cap Wilderness just 3 miles up Forest Road 7755. The nearby Two Color Guard Station, a historic Civilian Conservation Corps cabin from the 1930s, is also available for rental through Recreation.gov. The primary use season runs from May through September, with reservations available through Recreation.gov. Quiet hours are observed from 10pm to 6am. The campground is not maintained during the off-season, and road access may be limited by snow conditions in early spring and late fall.

Directions

From Baker City, Oregon head north on Interstate 84 for 5 miles to exit 298; turn right off interstate to State 203 Highway and travel 18 miles to Big Creek Road at Medical Springs. In Medical Springs turn right on Big Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to Forest Road 67 and turn left. Travel on Forest Road 67 for about 14 miles to Forest Road 77. Turn left on Forest Road 77 for 0.5 miles and then turn right onto Forest Road 7755 to go up Eagle Creek. Travel about 0.5 miles on Forest Road 7755; the entrance to the campground is on your right.
