About

Teton Reservoir Campground is a free primitive campground managed by the BLM Rawlins Field Office, located in the sage grasslands of Wyoming's Great Divide Basin. The reservoir serves as a watery oasis under bright summer skies, drawing anglers seeking rainbow and brown trout in the reservoir and surrounding streams. Non-motorized watercraft are welcome, with a boat ramp available for launching. The campground has 5 sites, each equipped with a picnic table, fire ring/grill, and parking spur. Vault toilets are provided but there are no hookups, potable water, or other developed amenities. Horses are prohibited in the campground. Access is via BLM Road 3418, reached by driving south from Rawlins on Wyoming Highway 71 for approximately 13 miles. The unpaved access roads become extremely muddy and impassable after heavy rain or snow, restricting practical use to the June 1 through November 15 window.

Directions

From Rawlins, take Wyoming Highway 71 south approximately 13 miles. Turn left on BLM Road 3418 and continue about 3/4 mile to the campground.
