About
Natchez Trace State Park is one of Tennessee's largest state parks, encompassing approximately 48,000 acres in West Tennessee's Henderson County. The park features several campground areas to accommodate different camping styles. Pin Oak Campground sits on the shore of Pin Oak Lake and offers sites with 50-amp electric, water, and sewer hookups capable of accommodating RVs up to 80 feet. Two bathhouses serve the campground. Cub Lake Campground #1 provides sites with 20, 30, and some 50-amp electric along with water hookups, a bathhouse, and dump station. This area accommodates camping units up to 25 feet. Cub Lake Campground #2 offers more primitive camping with water at the bathhouse. Both Cub Lake campgrounds operate seasonally. A separate Wrangler Campground serves equestrians with electric/water hookups and horse stalls. The park offers extensive recreational opportunities including over 40 miles of hiking trails, multiple lakes for fishing and boating, and dedicated equestrian trails. A camp store provides supplies, and a food truck is available during the lodge renovation. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance through the Tennessee State Parks reservation system.
