Natchez Trace State Park Campground

Open — Open year-round with some seasonal closures. Pin Oak and Wrangler campgrounds operate year-round but some sites close after December 1. Cub Lake Campground 2 and Wrangler Campground are currently closed for renovations. Cub Lake Campground 1 remains open seasonally. Cell service is very limited or unavailable in the Pin Oak campground area.

Natchez Trace State Park Campground spans 48,000 acres in west Tennessee and offers one of the most diverse camping experiences in the state park system. The park features multiple distinct camping areas to suit different camping styles. Pin Oak Campground sits on the shore of Pin Oak Lake with 77 sites offering 50-amp electric, sewer, and water hookups, accommodating RVs up to 80 feet. Cub Lake Campground 1 has 23 sites with electric and water hookups for RVs 25 feet and under. The Wrangler Campground is designed specifically for equestrian campers, featuring 62 sites with 50-amp electric and water, plus facilities for horses and access to 250 miles of riding trails throughout the park and forest. For primitive experiences, the park offers four backcountry campsites that can each accommodate groups up to 35 people, requiring a minimum 2.5-mile hike. The park also features five camping cabins overlooking Pin Oak Lake. Amenities include bathhouses with flush toilets, dump stations, a camp store, swimming beach, playground, and boat dock.

Directions

From I-40, take Exit 116 and follow signs to Natchez Trace State Park. The campground is located within the park, offering easy access from the interstate.
