About

Chickasaw State Park Campground sits within 1,280 acres of recreational land in West Tennessee's highland forests, once home to the Chickasaw Nation. The park offers three distinct campgrounds totaling 114 sites. The RV campground features 53 sites with water and electrical hookups (20, 30, and 50-amp), with 26 sites offering full hookups including sewer. Some RV sites accommodate rigs up to 94 feet. The tent campground provides 29 sites with water access, and the wrangler campground offers 32 sites with water and electrical hookups designed specifically for visitors traveling with horses. All campsites include picnic tables and grills, and modern bathhouses throughout the campgrounds provide hot showers and restroom facilities. A dump station is conveniently located in the RV campground, and playgrounds are available in each camping area. The Chickasaw Trading Post operates seasonally, offering camping necessities, snacks, and souvenirs. The park's location provides access to over four miles of hiking trails, bicycle-friendly roads, and Lake Placid for water-based recreation.
