Chickasaw State Park Campground

Chickasaw State Park encompasses over 14,000 acres of forested terrain in Chester County, Tennessee. The campground offers three distinct camping areas: a 53-site RV campground with water and 20/30/50-amp electrical hookups (26 sites also include sewer connections), a 29-site tent campground with water access, and a 32-site wrangler campground designed for visitors with horses. Some RV sites can accommodate rigs up to 94 feet. Every campsite includes a picnic table and grill. Modern bathhouses with hot showers and restroom facilities serve all camping areas. The RV campground has a dump station. The Chickasaw Trading Post camp store operates daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, stocking camping supplies, snacks, and souvenirs. The park also features Lake Placid for fishing and boating, hiking trails, and playgrounds in each campground area. Reservations are made through the Tennessee State Parks reservation system. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive days (28 days from December 1 through February 29). A $5 non-refundable reservation fee applies per campsite.
