Tamarack Point Campground is located in the Chippewa National Forest along the shores of Cass Lake, offering 31 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground provides boat access and docking facilities, making it an ideal destination for anglers and water enthusiasts. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, tent pad, and parking spot. The campground has vault toilets and drinking water available from faucets. Sites cost $14 per night, with a 50% discount available for Interagency Senior and Access Pass holders on the campsite they physically occupy. The campground is accessible via Highway 46, turning west onto County Road 9, then west onto Forest Road 2163.

Directions

From Deer River, travel 13 miles north on Highway 46. Turn west onto County Road 9 and travel south for 6 miles. Turn west onto Forest Road 2163 and continue approximately 5 miles northwest to the campground.
