About

Swift Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest near Afton, Wyoming. The seven shady campsites sit at the base of the Salt River Range right along Swift Creek, offering a peaceful creekside setting with light usage levels. The campground provides basic amenities including a vault toilet in the center of the campground (accessible) and a single hand pump faucet at site 1 for drinking water. Large picnic tables accommodate family groups. Sites are $10 per night on a first-come, first-served basis, with Interagency Senior/Access passes providing a 50% discount. Access is straightforward: from Afton, head north on US-89, turn right onto East 2nd Avenue, and follow it approximately one mile into the national forest where it becomes Forest Service Road 10211. The campground entrance is about 0.4 miles down on the right.
