The D.L. Roy Mullet Cabin is a modern rental cabin located at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. The cabin sleeps five people with one double bed, a futon, and a pull-down Murphy-style bed. Beds come with mattresses only, so guests must bring their own bedding including full-size sheets, pillows, and towels. The cabin includes a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, and a coffee pot, plus a table and chairs. There is no television, internet, or telephone hookups available. The facility is ADA accessible. Located in the heart of Hutchinson, the cabin offers convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and the many events that take place throughout the year at the State Fairgrounds. The cabin is managed by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and is available for reservation year-round with check-in after 2 p.m. and check-out at noon.

Directions

Enter the fairgrounds at 20th & Poplar Street, follow the paved road to your left, which curves and goes straight north. Turn left onto 23rd Ave (Lake Talbott is on your left). The Cabin is the third building on your left.
