About

Stagecoach State Park is a 1,630-acre recreation area centered around an 820-acre reservoir in the Yampa Valley near Steamboat Springs. The park offers 92 campsites spread across four campgrounds, accommodating everything from tent camping to RVs with electric hookups. Summer amenities include restrooms with coin-operated showers, potable water, and a dump station. The reservoir provides excellent fishing opportunities and features a marina with boat ramps on the north side and at Morrison Cove. Eight miles of trails wind through the park for hiking and wildlife viewing. The surrounding mountains create a scenic backdrop for camping, and the proximity to Steamboat Springs offers additional recreation and supply options. Winter camping is available at Pinnacle campground with vault restrooms and electric hookups. The park maintains year-round access, making it a versatile destination for Colorado campers seeking lake recreation in a mountain setting.
