About

Soquel Campground sits on the banks of Willow Creek in the Highway 41 Corridor of Sierra National Forest's Bass Lake Ranger District. The 21 sites are divided between two loops, shaded by pine and fir trees, and can accommodate tents and small trailers up to 20 feet. Each site features a dirt parking spur, picnic table, and campfire ring with grill. A campground host is on-site and firewood is available for purchase. This is a primitive campground with vault toilets but no potable water. Campers must bring their own water supply. The area is bear country, so proper food storage is required. The campground provides access to nearby trails including the Lewis Creek National Recreation Trail and Miami Motorcycle Trails. The Shadow of the Giants, a 1-mile loop through a grove of giant sequoias, is a short drive north. Yosemite National Park and the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad are popular day trips from the area.
