About
Snowberry Bowl Campground is a peaceful, forested retreat situated in the 25 Mile Creek drainage on the Chelan Ranger District of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Despite being close to Lake Chelan and its recreational opportunities, the campground offers a quiet escape from the busy town of Chelan. The facility features 7 single tent sites and 2 small group/RV sites designed for vehicles or trailers up to 25 feet in length. All sites include fire rings and picnic tables. No hookups are available. A notable feature is the group shelter containing four picnic tables, which can be accessed via barrier-free trails from both double campsites and is available to all campers on a first-come basis. The campground provides vault toilets and potable water from a hand pump or spigot, though there is no running water beyond that point. Campers should be prepared to pack out all trash as garbage service is not provided. At an elevation of 1,950 feet, the campground operates seasonally from mid-May through October and is accessible via Shady Pass Road and Slide Ridge Road.
Directions
