About

Sly Creek Campground is a 30-site facility located on the shores of Sly Creek Reservoir in the Feather River Ranger District of Plumas National Forest. At an elevation of 3,530 feet, the campground provides a forested lakeside setting ideal for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilets, drinking water, and garbage service available throughout the campground. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day stay limit. Sites accommodate trailers up to 22 feet, though no hookups are available. The adjacent boat ramp provides year-round access to the reservoir, making this a popular destination for water-based recreation during the summer months. Sly Creek Reservoir typically operates from May through September, with the surrounding area offering opportunities for wildlife viewing and hiking. The campground enforces standard forest regulations including leashed pets and a maximum of 8 people and 2 vehicles per site.
