About
Sing Lee Campground rests near tall timber providing open shade in the afternoon, creating a peaceful retreat in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. This intimate campground features two campsites equipped with metal fire rings, with one picnic table and one vault toilet serving the area. A small creek flows through the campsite, while Newsome Creek is just across the road, offering convenient water sources for filtering and treating. Located approximately 4.4 miles north of State Highway 14 via Newsome Creek Road (Forest Road 1858), this primitive campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding national forest. The area provides opportunities for river and stream fishing, day hiking, and OHV road riding. The trail to Pilot Knob is closed to motorized vehicles. No potable water is available on-site, and campers must pack in their own water or treat water from nearby sources. This is a Pack It In, Pack It Out facility with no garbage services provided. The campground is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Open year-round, access may be limited or impossible during winter months due to snow conditions.
Directions
From State Highway 14, turn north on Newsome Creek Road No. 1858 and travel approximately 4.4 miles to the campsite.
