Shouse Ford Campground is an Army Corps of Engineers facility located on the shores of DeGray Lake in Hot Spring County, Arkansas. The campground offers 99 electric campsites accommodating both RVs and tents, making it one of the larger and more popular recreation areas on this 13,500-acre lake. DeGray Lake is one of Arkansas's five Diamond Lakes, renowned for crystal clear waters. The campground provides modern amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and a sanitary dump station. Each site includes electric hookups with 50-amp service available at many sites. Two large sandy swimming beaches provide excellent lake access, and a boat ramp makes launching watercraft convenient for fishing, water skiing, kayaking, and boating. The lake is stocked with various game fish and is particularly known for hybrid striped bass, making it a premier fishing destination. An on-site amphitheater provides opportunities for evening programs. Nearby attractions include DeGray Lake Resort State Park with golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding trails along 207 miles of shoreline. Hot Springs National Park and Ouachita National Forest are both within easy driving distance.

Directions

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north to Bismarck. Turn left on State Highway 84 and go 9 miles west to Point Cedar. Turn left onto Shouse Ford Road and continue 4 miles to the campground.
