Shouse Ford Campground occupies a prime location on the banks of DeGray Lake, one of Arkansas's five Diamond Lakes known for crystal-clear waters. The 13,500-acre lake flows from the Caddo River and provides excellent opportunities for boating, water skiing, kayaking, and fishing. The lake is stocked with hybrid striped bass and other game fish, making it popular for both boat and bank fishing. The campground features 99 modern campsites with electric hookups, all reservable through Recreation.gov. Facilities include flush restrooms with hot showers, potable water, a dump station, playground, and amphitheater. Two large sandy beaches provide swimming access, and a boat ramp serves watercraft users. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill grate. Nearby attractions include DeGray Lake Resort State Park with golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding trails along 207 miles of shoreline. The Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are both within easy driving distance.

Directions

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north to Bismarck. Turn left on State Highway 84 and go 9 miles west to Point Cedar. Turn left onto Shouse Ford Road and continue 4 miles to the campground.
