About

Alpine Ridge Campground occupies a quiet, heavily treed spot on the shores of DeGray Lake in the Ouachita Mountain foothills. The 13,500-acre lake draws anglers seeking hybrid striped bass and other game fish, while boaters and water skiers take advantage of the calm waters. The campground's boat ramp provides convenient access, and a sandy swimming beach offers a place to cool off. All 49 sites feature electric and water hookups with paved driveways capable of accommodating RVs up to 50 feet. Modern facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station. A playground keeps kids entertained. The campground operates on a reservation system through Recreation.gov, with a 14-day stay limit without ranger approval. Nearby attractions include DeGray Lake Resort State Park with golf courses and horseback riding, plus the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park within easy driving distance.
