About
Located on the shores of DeGray Lake in the Ouachita Mountains near Hot Springs and Little Rock, DeGray Lake Resort State Park Campground offers 113 campsites with a variety of options for every type of camper. Sites range from walk-in tent sites (Class D) to Class B sites with water and 30 amp electric hookups, to premium Class AAA sites with full hookups including water, 50 amp electric, and sewer connections. Three Rent-A-Yurts provide a unique camping experience. All campsites include picnic tables and fire pits. Bathhouses with hot showers and flush toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. The campground is part of Arkansas' only resort state park, giving campers access to exceptional amenities including a 90-room island lodge with conference center and heated pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, 18-hole disc golf course, full-service marina with boat rentals, two swimming beaches, and various sports courts. Five hiking trails wind through the park, including the Island Trail, Green Heron Trail, and Towering Pines Trail. The Islets Cove Paddle Trail offers excellent paddling opportunities. For mountain bikers, the world-class Iron Mountain Trail System with 30+ miles of singletrack is located nearby. The park offers year-round interpretive programs including sunset cruises, snorkeling trips, guided hikes, birding tours, and winter Eagle Watch Tours on DeGray Lake. The full-service marina provides bait and tackle, fuel, and boat rentals including party barges and pedal boats. Campsites accommodate up to eight people and two structures (one RV and one tent, or two tents). Check-in and check-out time is 3:00 p.m., with quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to sunrise. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights.
Directions
From I-30 take exit 75 (Arkadelphia/Caddo Valley exit) and travel 7 miles north on Scenic Highway 7 to the park entrance.
