About

Arlie Moore Campground sits on the northern banks of DeGray Lake in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in western Arkansas. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this established campground features 87 campsites, all with electric hookups, accommodating both RVs and tents. Sites are heavily treed and offer shade throughout the campground. The campground is particularly popular with hikers. The Arlie Moore Interpretive Trail, which winds through the area, was selected by the National Recreation Reservation Service as one of America's Top 25 Hiking Trails. DeGray Lake is one of Arkansas's five Diamond Lakes, known for crystal clear waters spanning 13,500 surface acres. The lake is stocked with hybrid striped bass and other game fish, making it ideal for both boat and bank fishing. Water sports including boating, water skiing, and kayaking are popular activities on the lake. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, a sanitary dump station, swimming beach, boat ramp, amphitheater, and playground. During non-peak season, certain campsites and loops are closed. Reservations longer than 14 days require an approved extension. DeGray Lake Resort State Park is located nearby along the 207 miles of shoreline, offering golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding. Hot Springs National Park and Ouachita National Forest are also within driving distance.

Directions
