About

Arlie Moore Campground is a well-developed US Army Corps of Engineers facility on the northern shores of DeGray Lake, one of Arkansas's five Diamond Lakes known for crystal-clear waters. The campground sits in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and offers 87 campsites spread across heavily treed terrain with scenic lake views. Site types include RV electric, standard electric, and tent-only electric, with most featuring 50-amp or 15-amp service and some sites offering water hookups. Amenities include flush toilets with hot showers, a dump station at the entrance, fire rings and picnic tables at each site, a swimming beach, boat ramp, playground, and amphitheater. DeGray Lake spans 13,500 surface acres and is stocked with hybrid striped bass and other game fish, making it excellent for both boat and bank fishing. Water sports including boating, water skiing, and kayaking are popular activities. The campground is home to the 1.3-mile Arlie Moore Interpretive Trail, which has been selected by the National Recreation Reservation Service as one of America's Top 25 Hiking Trails. Nearby attractions include DeGray Lake Resort State Park with golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding, as well as the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park.
