About
Caddo Drive Day Use area sits along the pristine shores of DeGray Lake in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. The facility was awarded one of America's Top 25 Scenic Views and offers stunning scenery with panoramic lake vistas. The main feature is a reservable group pavilion with electric hookups, situated on a tree-covered ridge that joins a bluff overlooking the water. DeGray Lake encompasses 13,500 water acres with 207 miles of shoreline and an average depth of 47 feet. The day use area provides access to a swimming beach and boat launch, making it popular for swimming, boating, jet skiing, and fishing. The lake hosts thousands of professional fishing tournaments and triathlons annually. The area is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and operates seasonally. DeGray Lake Resort State Park is located nearby on the northern shores, offering additional recreational opportunities including kayaking tours, golf, tennis courts, and horseback riding trails.
