Serrano Campground is located on the north side of Big Bear Lake, about 2 miles east of Fawnskin in the San Bernardino Mountains. Accessed via the Rim of the World Scenic Byway, the campground sits in a pine forest setting with sagebrush along paved roads. The Big Bear Discovery Center across the street offers interpretive programs and educational trails. The campground has 93 single sites (up to 8 people) and 16 double sites (up to 16 people). About 27 sites have electric and water hookups for RVs. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, picnic tables, fire rings with grills, bear boxes, and a dump station. A camp host is on-site and firewood is available for purchase. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. Recreation options include hiking, mountain biking, boating, and fishing. The Alpine Pedal Path and Cougar Crest Trail connect to the Pacific Crest Trail. Big Bear Lake offers trout, bass, catfish, bluegill, and crappie. A boat ramp is about a mile away.

Directions

From I-10 in Redlands, take Highway 330 to Highway 18 in Running Springs. Continue east on Highway 18 at Big Bear Lake Dam but do not cross the dam. Turn left onto Highway 38 and continue to North Shore Lane. Campground is half a mile on the left, across from Meadows Edge Day Use.
