About

Sequim Bay State Park is a year-round, 92-acre marine camping park situated on the west side of Sequim Bay on the Olympic Peninsula. Set in one of the driest microclimates west of the Cascade Mountains within the Olympic rain shadow, the park offers 4,909 feet of saltwater shoreline and diverse recreational opportunities. The campground provides both standard and full-utility sites that accommodate RVs and combinations up to 40 feet in length. The park features upper and lower camping loops, though the lower loop closes seasonally for winter repairs. Amenities include restrooms with showers, picnic shelters with bay views, an amphitheater, and a dump station. Three hiker/biker sites are available for those entering on foot or bicycle via the Olympic Discovery Trail, a 120-mile paved trail that runs through the park. Waterside activities include boating via the public boat launch, crabbing, shellfishing, and beach exploration. Six moorage buoys are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park also offers land-based recreation including horseshoe pits, and a tunnel under Highway 101 connects to a baseball field, basketball/tennis courts, and soccer field. Ramblewood Retreat Center, surrounded by old growth cedar and hemlock trees, provides group lodging. Nearby Sequim and Port Angeles offer additional dining and shopping options.
