Dungeness Forks Campground is a small, primitive tent campground located at the confluence of the Dungeness and Graywolf Rivers in Olympic National Forest. The 10 campsites are nestled in a shaded forest of evergreen conifers at approximately 1,000 feet elevation, providing a peaceful basecamp for exploring the northern Olympic Peninsula. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. No potable water is available, so campers must bring their own supply. Payment is cashless via the Recreation.gov Scan & Pay app. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Access to the campground is via Forest Service Road 2880, a steep one-lane unpaved road. Trailers and motorhomes are not permitted due to road conditions. The maximum stay is 14 days, and pets are allowed on leash.

Directions

From Quilcene, WA travel north on US Highway 101 to Sequim Bay State Park. Turn left across from the State Park on Louella Road. Drive 1 mile to Palo Alto Road. Turn left and drive 4 miles to Forest Service Road 2880. Turn right and drive 1 mile to the campground.
