Secret House Campground was formerly a USFS campground located in Placer County within Tahoe National Forest. The site has been officially decommissioned by the Forest Service and is no longer operational for overnight camping. No facilities or services remain at this location. Campers seeking established campgrounds in this area of Tahoe National Forest should look for other active sites in the forest.
Directions
From Foresthill Road, head west over Red Star Ridge. The campground is located near the northern point of the road, north of Macedon Ridge. Note that the site is not signposted, so careful attention to maps is necessary.
