About
Sebastian Inlet State Park Campground occupies a prime location on Florida's east coast, positioned at the Sebastian Inlet where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian River Lagoon. The campground features 51 sites, all equipped with water and electrical hookups, fire rings with grills, and picnic tables. Sites can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet in length. The park encompasses over 3 miles of Atlantic Ocean beaches and is internationally recognized for its surfing, with consistent breaks at First Peak near the north jetty and Monster Hole offshore. Saltwater fishing is exceptional from two ADA-accessible jetties extending into the ocean, and boat ramps provide access to offshore fishing grounds. The Indian River Lagoon side offers calm waters for kayaking and paddling through mangrove-fringed shorelines and to nearby islands. Campground amenities include accessible restrooms with showers, a dump station, laundry facilities, and a Wi-Fi hotspot near the marina. Beach wheelchairs are available at no charge. The park also features the McLarty Treasure Museum highlighting the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet and the Sebastian Fishing Museum chronicling local fishing history. A mile-long Hammock Trail nature trail winds through coastal subtropical palm and oak hammocks. Well-behaved pets are permitted in the campground but not on beaches.
