Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products
This Order prohibits unloading, storing, or using any straw, hay, grain, seed, or other forage or mulch products that are not state-certified weed free on the National Forest System lands, roads or trails in any Closure Area as specific in the Order.

Portion of Forest Service Road 1003 (Tom Creek Road) closed
A portion of Forest Service Road 1003, also known as Tom Creek Road, is closed. The road closure starts at the junction of FSR 10 and FSR 1003 and includes the first 4.1 miles of FSR 1003 to the junction with the 1003-416 and 1003-409 roads.
Sno-park Permits required Nov. 1 to Apr. 30
Sno-Park Permits are required to park in designated sno-parks from November 1 through April 30. Sno-Park Permits are managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Carmen Reservoir Closure
To protect the health and safety of the public: due to heavy machinery and construction equipment traffic, the following area is closed: the footprint of Carmen Reservoir, from the center of the reservoir up to the high-water line and extends to the spillway area to the southwest and Forest Road

14 Day Stay Camping Limit

About
Salmon Creek Falls Campground is located in a beautiful, lush old-growth forest along Salmon Creek in the Willamette National Forest, just 5 miles east of Oakridge. This 14-site campground sits beneath a dense canopy of Douglas fir and hemlock, with ferns, thimbleberry, and maple filling out the understory. The rocky gorge-like area creates two small beautiful waterfalls and several deep pools which reflect the clear blue-green waters, making it a favorite swimming spot during summer months. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis only, with no advance reservations available. Campers must arrive at the site to claim a campsite and can pay by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Each of the 14 sites includes a picnic table and fire pit, with vault toilets available. Springtime brings a full range of wildflowers along the rocky banks and in the woods and meadows, while wild thimbleberries and hazelnuts abound in summer. The area has historical significance as Salmon Creek once supplied water for the City of Oakridge, and remains of old wooden, wire-wrapped water pipes can still be seen. Today, the campground is a favorite recreation spot for both local residents and distant travelers seeking a beautiful forest camping experience near waterfalls and swimming holes.
Directions
From the traffic light along Highway 58 in Oakridge at Crestview Street, travel north on Crestview Street over the railroad tracks for 0.2 miles. Bear right at the four-way intersection onto East 1st Street through the center of Oakridge. Follow East 1st Street for approximately 1.1 miles out of town to the junction of Fish Hatchery Road. Here, East 1st becomes Forest Road 24 (Salmon Creek Road). Stay straight on Salmon Creek Road and travel approximately 3.7 miles to the campground on your right.
