Official U.S. Forest Service documentation indicates the Buckhead Nature Trailhead area is designated for day-use only, with operating hours from sunrise to sunset. There are no restroom facilities, no potable water, and no fee required for access. The area is managed by the Middle Fork Ranger District. Visitors should note that Forest Service roads in this area are not maintained for snow and ice during winter months, which may limit accessibility seasonally.
