Roberts Creek West Campground is located within Roberts Creek Park, one of Iowa's largest county-managed parks at 1,535 acres. The campground sits on the west side of 300-acre Roberts Creek Lake and features 65 modern full hookup sites, including 50 amp service options. The park's abundant woodland and grassland areas provide excellent outdoor recreation opportunities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. As part of the Roberts Creek Park complex, campers enjoy access to quality fisheries known for crappie fishing, boat ramps, a modern shower building, additional flush restrooms, playground areas, and open picnic shelters. The park is situated near Lake Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake, offering additional recreational opportunities including a paved 13-mile hiking and biking trail along the shoreline. The campground is managed by Marion County Conservation and operated seasonally. Located 7 miles west of Pella at 1519 County Highway G28, the facility provides a convenient base for exploring central Iowa's outdoor attractions. Reservations can be made online through mycountyparks.com, with special minimum night requirements during major events like the Sprint Car Nationals in August.
