Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 122 PM CDT, Emergency management reported road closures due to heavy rain. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rain this this afternoon may prolong or worsen the flooding, especially along Cedar Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Knoxville, Melcher-Dallas, Bussey, Hamilton, Marysville and Knoxville Municipal Airport.

Elk Rock State Park is located on Lake Red Rock in Marion County, Iowa. The lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is Iowa's largest body of water at over 15,000 acres. The state park provides excellent camping and boating access to this recreational resource. The park operates two campgrounds. The main non-equestrian campground has 30 sites with a mix of electric (20/30/50 amp) and non-electric options. The equestrian campground adds another 42 sites with similar electric options, plus horse stalls, hitching rails, and a 100x200 foot riding arena. Both campgrounds feature modern restroom and shower buildings. A dump station and self-serve firewood machine are available. Two boat ramps provide lake access, with the west ramp near the entrance featuring six lanes and ample parking. Fishing opportunities include bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, and channel catfish. After-hours fishing is permitted from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. from designated bank areas only.
