About
Rapid Creek Dispersed is a small, quiet dispersed camping area tucked into the Paddy Flat area of Payette National Forest, southeast of McCall, Idaho. With only two designated camping units, this spot offers exceptional solitude adjacent to Rapid Creek. The area is accessed via Paddy Flat Road, a few miles north of Donnelly. This is a primitive, no-fee dispersed camping area with minimal development. A vault toilet is provided, but there is no potable water, trash service, or other amenities. Campers should bring all necessary supplies and pack out all trash. The area also offers opportunities for OHV road riding and picnicking. The standard Payette National Forest stay limit of 14 days within any 30-day period applies. After the stay limit is reached, campers must relocate at least 5 miles away. Access roads may be impassable during winter and early spring due to snow.
Directions
From Donnelly, Idaho, travel north on Paddy Flat Road to access the Paddy Flat area. The camping area is located adjacent to Rapid Creek.
