About

Dunn State Park provides a scenic retreat in Gardner, Massachusetts, centered around a picturesque 20-acre pond. The park offers excellent fishing opportunities with the pond stocked twice yearly with trout, accessible via numerous fishing piers including two that are fully wheelchair accessible. The 0.75-mile Woodland Trail and 1.1-mile Pond Loop Trail provide pleasant walks through forested areas with beautiful pond views. The park features a family picnic area and swimming beach, both universally accessible, along with two small playgrounds and exercise equipment along the trail system. Facilities include accessible restrooms at the Pond House Visitor Center and outdoor showers available during summer months. Dunn State Park offers a group pavilion (24'x52') for rental that accommodates up to 100 people. The pavilion includes 12 picnic tables, a group-sized charcoal grill (3'x3'), and access to a small mowed grassy field and the pond. This is a day-use facility; traditional overnight tent or RV camping is not available at this park.
