Lake Dennison Recreation Area is a 121-acre Massachusetts state park located in Winchendon, comprising a small portion of the 4,221-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Birch Hill Flood Control Project. The Department of Conservation and Recreation manages this portion of the flood control project for recreational use via Otter River State Park staff. The campground offers 151 wooded campsites and one group site, many situated along the shores of the 85-acre Lake Dennison. The area provides a range of recreational opportunities including swimming at the beach, fishing, non-motorized boating, hiking, and access to more than 50 miles of mountain bike trails accessible from the campground. The park features a boat launch for easy lake access. Lake Dennison Recreation Area operates seasonally and provides a peaceful North Central Massachusetts camping destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts seeking water-based activities and trail access in a wooded lakeside setting.

From Route 2 East, take Exit 79 to Route 202 North. Travel 7.5 miles to park entrance on left. The campground entrance is the second Lake Dennison sign. Address: 210 Baldwinville Road, Winchendon, MA 01436.
