Pearl Hill State Park encompasses 1,000 acres of wooded recreation land in north central Massachusetts, approximately 50 miles from Boston. The campground features more than 50 sites beneath a mature pine canopy, recognized as some of the largest and most private campsites available in the Massachusetts state park system. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire grill. The park offers diverse recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling on its trail network. A 4-mile trail provides connectivity to adjacent Willard Brook State Forest. Pearl Hill Brook Pond features a 5-acre swimming beach with a beach wheelchair available for accessibility. Fishing is available in both the pond and brook, with trout being the primary species. The park also includes group day-use areas and picnic facilities. Camping rates are $17 per night for Massachusetts residents and $54 per night for non-residents, with group camping available at $35 and $100 respectively. The campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Reservations can be made through the Massachusetts DCR camping system, with same-day bookings accepted until 2 p.m. on the arrival date. The park remains open year-round for day use from sunrise to sunset, with winter activities including cross-country skiing and snowmobiling when conditions permit.

Located in Townsend, MA. From Interstate 495, exit onto Route 119 west. Follow signs to Townsend and the park entrance at 105 New Fitchburg Road, West Townsend.
